CPR course requirements for healthcare practitioners registration and renewal

In order to ensure the quality of healthcare provided to the citizens and residents in the State of Qatar and
based on the recommendations of PLC (Permanent Licensing Committee) at its meeting held on 13/07/2014,
the Registration and Licensing Department in Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners has reviewed and
amended the policy and the general plan for the CPR courses required to obtain or renew the license to work
in Qatar’s health sector.
Therefore, all healthcare practitioners and facilities are requested to review the new amendments and provide
the Registration department with the certificates of completion for the required courses indicated for their
respective specialty as an essential requirement for the purpose of getting a license or renewing it.
The policy above shall be put into effect as of the 05/05/2015
