The County Borough of Conwy (Disabled Person’s Parking Places)
(No.1) Order 2014
The Conwy County Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2
and 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9, of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of
which will be:1.

To designate the lengths of road specified in Schedule 1 to this notice as a
Disabled Person’s Parking Place for the exclusive use of vehicles displaying a
valid Disabled Person’s Badge and a Residents Permit.
To designate the lengths of road specified in Schedule 2 hereto as a Disabled
Person’s Parking Place for the exclusive use of vehicles displaying a valid
Disabled Person’s Badge.
To revoke the restrictions specified in Schedules 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8.
Exceptions will be provided in the proposed Order to permit waiting for the purposes of
works of maintenance, repair and the like.
A copy of the proposed Order together with a map showing the lengths of road to
which the proposed Order relates and a statement of the Council's reasons for
proposing to make the Order may be examined at Colwyn Bay, Llandudno,
Penmaenmawr and Abergele Libraries and at the offices of the Head of Law and
Governance Services, Bodlondeb, Conwy during normal opening/office hours.
Objections to the proposed Order, together with the grounds on which they are made,
should be sent in writing to the Head of Law and Governance, Conwy County Borough
Council, Bodlondeb, Conwy, LL32 8DU by 5 November 2014.
