Thursday, July 24, 2014 Re: Associate podiatrist To whom it may concern, I am interested in an associate podiatrist position in the Northern Virginia or Washington DC area. I am currently in my third and final year as a resident physician in podiatric medicine within the VA Maryland Healthcare System until June 30, 2015. After pursuing a semi-professional career in music for 15 years I decided to switch gears and enter college for the first time. After a little elbow grease and many prayers I found myself walking on to the stage again. However, this time as a graduate of a dual degree program in Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and Management. What’s more is that I was blessed to match in residency with the VA Maryland Healthcare System, a program that has provided me with comprehensive exposure to many great aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery. I am a very friendly, outgoing, respectful and hardworking professional. I have a strong interest in all aspects of primary podiatric care; ranging from heel pain to diabetic wound care to treating the elderly in nursing facilities. Also possess an interest and ability to perform surgical intervention when necessary. To better acquaint you with the specifics of my background I am enclosing my resume. Other required documents may be furnished upon request. I ask for your consideration and look forward to meeting with you to discuss my qualifications inmore detail. Thank you for your time!
