Customer specific playlist formats can be imported to CUBA-HDP. There are different start types for video events in CUBA HDP’s rundown control: Auto Follow (Default) The event starts frame accurate with the end of the preceeding event. For each event you can choose between back-to-back playback or video/audio blending. Absolute The event starts frame accurate at a date/time specified in the playlist. Gaps in or between playlists can be filled automatically by CUBA HDP’s auto-fill feature Manual The events starts by manual operator interaction. Loop Either a single event or the whole playlist will be looped permanently. External Trigger The start of an events is performed by an external trigger. Externa triggers can be within a video signal connected to CUBA HDP’s video input or using the GPIO option. A playlist can contain individual trim in/trim out times for each event in the playlist. CUBA HDP comes with a clip trimmer which allows you to preview clips from the rundown and to set trim points. Playlist-Management CUBA HDP comes with an integrated playlist management. Playlists from a defined file system folder (watch folder) will be appended automatically to the current rundown. Eventually resulting overlaps or gaps will be corrected automatically. With the integrated DVE feature CUBA-HDP is able to scale a live signal. On-Air-Graphics/Secondary Events CUBA-HDP comes with a powerful graphics engine. Secondary events like corner bugs (static or image sequences), crawls/tickers, clocks, lower thirds, DVE effects (e.g. push back) and so on can be created easily with CUBA-HDP. More complex graphical requirements can be created using the authoring tool CUBA Creator. CUBA-HDP comes with a scripting API which allows you to extend the functionality of CUBA-HDP.
