Lions Australia Youth Exchange
Lions Australia Youth Exchange provides the opportunity for 16 – 21 year olds to experience life
overseas as part of a program that does not involve tourism, academic studies or employment. All
Lions Youth Exchanges Programs depart in early December and return in mid-January.

National Science Week School Grants
National Science Week 2014 is held Saturday 16th – Sunday 24th August. The theme is Food for our
future: Science feeding the world. Schools can apply for up to $500 to help them conduct a National

Pacific Project is a yearlong project for students culminating in a 2 week exploration of East Timor.
The Pacific Project provides students with an opportunity to visit development projects, meet

2014 under 35s Quilt Competition
Quilts must be mailed Wed 18 June 2014
Students who are interested are invited to join Australian Quilters Companion, The Quilters’ Guild of
NSW Inc. and Brother for the 2014 under 35’s Quilt Competition. Requirements are to make a Quilt
that can be smaller but must not be larger than 120cm by 150cm by the date specified.
