Murdoch University Online Application Eligibility If you are interested in applying to Murdoch University and are from one of the following countries you must apply through an agent as part of Streamlined Visa Processing (SVP). This means that Murdoch assesses whether each student visa applicant is a Genuine Student (GS) and Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE): http://www.immi.gov.au/students/_pdf/2011genuine-temporary-entrant.pdf As part of this process, Murdoch looks at an applicant’s English language capability, financial resources, and previous study. To enable Murdoch University to effectively assess whether students are GS and GTE, we have engaged agents in your country to assist you with the process of applying to Murdoch University and for your student visa if you are successful in gaining a place. Engaging our Murdoch University agents will mean that: (a) You will be fully informed and more prepared when applying for your student visa, and you will understand your obligations as an International student visa holder in Australia. (b) You will increase your chances of being offered a place at Murdoch University as your agent will advise you on the documents required. (c) You will increase your chances of getting a student visa as your agent will counsel and assist you through the process.
