DxP Multi-Color Upgrades Technical Specifications

Cytek Development
DxP Flow Cytometry Systems
Designed specifically for BD FACScanTM, FACSortTM and FACSCaliburTM
flow cytometers, Cytek’s Digital Extra Parameter (DxP) upgrades
are scalable up to five lasers and fourteen fluorescent detection channels.
DxP customizable configurations and add-on options support
a wide range of applications. By leveraging the use of existing proven
fluidics, DxP systems are a cost effective alternative to buying a new
cytometer. For more information visit Cytek at www.cytekflow.com.

spherical lens.
Optical Efficiency
Power loss at flow cell is less than 20% of
specified laser power.
Flow Cell Design
The rectangular fused silica cuvette has an
anti-reflective coating on external surfaces.
The internal cross-section is 430 x 180 μm.
Emission Optics
Optical Coupling
Fused silica cuvette is coupled to emission
lens by refractive index matching optical
gel for 2.6 str solid angle collection.
Background Rejection
Includes obscuration blade and slit for
minimizing unwanted laser radiation at the
FSC detector.
Forward Scatter Detector and Filter
Features a high-performance, solid state
silicon detector with 488 nm bandpass
filter.
Side Scatter Detector
Utilizes a photomultiplier with a Brewsterangle beam splitter and 488 nm bandpass
filter.
