Webservices, Identity Management, Webcenter, Enterprise
Manager, Business Intelligence, Hyperion EPM, Endeca,
Sales Cloud, HCM Cloud, new UX/ADF etc.

•  Online patching reduces your downtime dramatically
•  However, you’ll be running 2 stacks of the application server
and you’ll get complexity in the database (each object will be
double with different versions)
•  You’ll need significant more horsepower on your (temp)
storage and servers (memory) compared to EBS R12.1
•  You’ll need to have your CEMLI list up to date....
•  Start using Oracle Enterprise Manager (another Cool) to
manage the environments and patches or outsource
