Creating leaders, entrepreneurs , mentors and innovators,

required to achieve our vision. In doing so, we will deliver

verticals of sportswear and fashion in the country.

our 20 years of existence …
Manufacturing for leading international brands in India since our
inception ; today we pioneer as the one of the largest, most
technically equipped, research oriented and statutorily compliant
set ups in the country …. The international labels we
manufacture for are Nike , Puma, Lotto and Converse .
Retailing has been our forte : today we operate 400 + EBOs
across 4 international labels through the Franchisee route and
50 + EBOs of Owned Retail.
Launched Nike in India as exclusive licensee and for 9 years of this
arrangement, maintained market leadership position – sourcing,
marketing, brand building and distribution.
We also introduced, a bouquet of niche luxury brands through
the Franchisee route way back in the year 2005… exposing the
then unfamiliar Indian consumer to the hi-end luxury retail.
Our retail network encompasses 80 + cities, leaving no relevant
market zone unexplored in any tier or market segment.
SSIPL is known to possess the best locations in the market place
across all major cities at the most competitive commercial
structures.
Through the range of brands @ SSIPL , we cater to the entire
spectrum of the consumer catchment of the country; very few
players in the market enjoy that distinction.

Seamlessly Integrated & efficient backend Operations - rated
one of the best in the retail & manufacturing segments in the

Information Technology platform – we are the first in Indian
retail to have adopted the Microsoft AXAPTA platform which is
the pinnacle product from Microsoft for Retail industry globally.
The triumph
story
SSIPL started as Moja Shoes Private Limited
in 1994 & set up its 1st modern footwear
manufacturing unit at Kundli, Sonepat,
Haryana in 1995.
The 90s…
• Started manufacturing Nike footwear.
• Launched Nike in India as a licensee.
• Forayed in retail segment with the first
Nike exclusive store at South Extension,
Delhi.
The next decade …
Partnered with Levi’s to manage EBO retail portfolio.
Launched ‘Shoe Tree’ – the Multi – Brand boutique
footwear store.
Introduced Luxury retail in the cities of New Delhi &
Mumbai with boutique stores of Aigner, Salvatore
Ferragamo, Fratelli Rossetti & Paul Smith
Introduced h2o+, the skin care brand from Chicago as a
distributor for the country.
Partnered with brand Lotto as a licensee managing
sourcing, distribution & retail.
Crossed a landmark of 100 EBOs across retail portfolio.
Partnered with United Colors of Benetton to run their
Outlet business in North of India.
Increased manufacturing base form one unit to 4 units
by adding 3 Assembly Units during the decade
Last 5 years…

Added two more manufacturing units to meet the
increasing demands of our customers.

Started relationship with Puma as a preferred
manufacturing base for them.

Aggressive expansion in retail taking the total
store count to 400+ stores encompassing the
length and breadth of the country.

Started retail for Clarks through EBO mode.

Distribution rights for Nike Equipment Product
range from ENI – JR 286.

Launch of private labels and commencement of
Owned retail formats – Sierra, Mmojah & Shoe
