WHY NYLON?
• 2-5 times better than steel and more than 25 times better than HDPE
in abrasion resistance*
• Better impact resistance than fiberglass, HDPE and their composites
• Fast installation with coils
• Better resistance to static build-up compared with HDPE
• No cathodic protection necessary
• Transition fittings available
• Corrosion resistant
• Low expansion and contraction of pipe with temperature changes
• L ower thermal conductivity compared with steel and
HDPE, which may result in low paraffin build-up
• Joining process uses standard fusion equipment
*Tested against 3” .188 ERW A53/x42 steel and 4710 HDPE
