INSTRUCTIONS FOR PHOTOCHEMICAL & PHOTOBIOLOGICAL SCIENCES
SPECIAL ISSUE
1) The articles should be written according to the journal instructions and journal template
(available at http://www.rsc.org/publishing/journals/PP/ “submit an article”). Always include
page numbers.
2) Please, specify in the STEP 1 of the online manuscript submission process that the article
is for the “Special Issue of 8TH EUROPEAN MEETING ON SOLAR CHEMISTRY AND
PHOTOCATALYSIS: ENVIRONMENTAL APPLICATIONS (SPEA 8)”. You should also
include:
•
2 contact authors per article with correct e-mail addresses.
•
4 possible referees per article that you think are sufficiently capable of reviewing your
article (name, e-mail and complete address).
3) The maximum length of each article is 7000 words equivalent (including abstract, text,
figures, tables and references). A figure or table is equivalent to 400 words.
4) The deadline for receiving manuscripts is July 13th, 2014. We are going to be completely
inflexible on this point, since we have committed ourselves with the editor of the journal.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLIED CATALYSIS B: ENVIRONMENTAL
SPECIAL ISSUE
1) The articles should be written according to the journal instructions available at
http://www.elsevier.com/journals/applied-catalysis-b-environmental/0926-3373/guide-forauthors. Articles must be submitted online through Elsevier Editorial System (EES) service
(http://ees.elsevier.com/apcatb/default.asp ).
2) Please, specify in the STEP 1 (“Select Article Type”) of the submission process that the
article is for the “SPEA 8 Conference” special issue.
3) In your cover letter you should also include:
•
2 contact authors per article with correct e-mail addresses.
•
4 possible referees per article that you think are sufficiently capable of reviewing your
article (name, e-mail and complete address).

(http://ees.elsevier.com/cattod/).
2) Please, specify in the STEP 1 (“Select an Article Type”) that the article is for the “Special
Issue of 8TH EUROPEAN MEETING ON SOLAR CHEMISTRY AND
PHOTOCATALYSIS: ENVIRONMENTAL APPLICATIONS (SPEA 8)”.

4) During the submission process, you will be asked to upload an invitation letter; this is the
email you received inviting you to submit to this special issue.

limit, the paper will be rejected.
