invites the open tender on prescribed form in sealed cover for the following works.

the maintenance and upkeep of
complete Civil Engg. Trg. Academy,
Kanpur and Hostel for one year (along
with the petty Electrical repair with
required consumables).

Tender will be received in the office of Principal, CETA, North Central Railway, Kanpur upto 14.00 hrs. on the
date of opening and will be opened on the same day at 15.00 hrs. in the presence of tenderers. In case the date of opening
of tender happens to be a holiday, the tenders will be opened on the next working day at specific time.
Detailed particulars are given in the tender form which will be available for sale 15 days in advance from the date
of opening during office hours on all working days and upto 12.00 hrs. on opening day of tender from the office of
Principal, CETA, North Central Railway, Kanpur on cash payment of Rs. 2000+7% S.T. Total amount for each tender
form will be Rs. 2140/- which is not refundable. Tender form is not transferable. The tender documents will be issued
against submission of total tender cost by cash, Railway Money receipt or by submission of Demand Draft/Bankers cheque
issued from Scheduled/Nationalized Bank in favour of FA&CAO/HQ/NCR/ALD.

The tender documents can also be downloaded from Railway’s website www.ncr.railnet.gov.in
www.tenders.gov.in and used, for which the cost of tender document should be submitted alongwith the tender in the shape
of cross demand draft or banker’s cheque (non-refundable) payable at Allahabad in favour of FA&CAO/NCR/Allahabad
without which tender form will be rejected. Railway Administration shall not be responsible for any delay/difficulties/
inaccessibility of the downloading facility for any reason what so ever. In case of any discrepancy between the tender
documents downloaded from internet and the master copy available in the office, the latter shall prevail and will be binding
on the tenderer(s). No claim on this account will be entertained. Tender Notice also uploaded on NCR website.
If tender is required by post, Rs. 100/- extra in addition to the cost of tender form to cover the postal charges will
be required in cash. Postal Order will not be accepted. The department does not undertake any responsibility on account of
Postal delay, loss or non-delivery of documents by post.
The requisite Earnest money should be deposited either in cash with FA&CAO/NCR/Allahabad or in any of the
prescribed instruments as given in the tender form pledged in favour of FA&CAO, NCR/ALD. Tenders not accompanied
with the Earnest money in prescribed form shall not be considered valid and shall be summarily rejected. The Tenderer(s)
will have to keep the offer open for 90 days from the date of opening of tender. In case tenderer(s) withdraw his/their offer
within this validity period or fails to undertake the contract after acceptance of the tender, the full earnest money shall be
forfeited. The payment to the contractor/vender would be made through EFT/ECS.
Further, full amount of security deposit as prescribed will have to be deposited by the successful tenderer after
acceptance of the tender.
