For and on behalf of president of India, Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager, North Central
Railway Jhansi invites sealed bid on single stage two packet system i.e. packet “A” Containing
technical bid and packet “B” containing only financial bid from food and catering service provider
for ‘Provision of catering vending services through catering stall of 10’x 6’ Sq-ft (General Minor
Unit) at the following stations for a period five years mentioned as under:Tea Stalls

The tender will be received up to 15:00 hrs of 12.09.2014 through tender box kept in the office
of Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager, Divisional Railway Manager’s office, North Central
Railway Jhansi. The tenderers should submit both offers separately in one big envelope duly
super scribed as tender for allotment of above mentioned work at Railway Station/PF No.--- -------------- of Jhansi division.
The packet “A” will be opened at 15:30 hrs in presence of Tenderers or their authorized
representatives who wishes to be present there. The packet “B” will be opened later on of those
tenderers only who qualify in packet “A” i.e. techno commercial bid. If, on tender opening day, it
happens to be holiday by any means then tender will be opened on next working day at same
time and venue.
“The interested Bidders may purchase “Bid Documents” between 10:00 hrs and 17:30 hrs on all
working days from 12.08.2014 to 11.09.2014 in person from the Office of Sr. Divisional
Commercial Manager, North Central Railway, DRM’s office JHS on payment of non refundable
document fee of Rs. 2500/- + Rs.175/- Service Tax (Rs Two thousand six hundred seventy five
only) as per detail mentioned below in the form of (a)
DD in favour of Sr. Divisional Finance Manager, North Central Railway, Jhansi drawn on
any scheduled Commercial bank in India.

Cash deposited at Booking office at Jhansi station duly supported with original Money
Receipt indicating the Bid Number and due date of submission.

www.ncr.indianrailways.gov.in and www.tenders.gov.in from 12-08-2014 to 11.09.2014.
The bids can be submitted on the downloaded document along with a separate Demands Draft
towards the cost of bidding documents Rs. 2500/- +Service Tax Rs.175/- (Total Rs.Two
Thousand Six Hundred Seventy Five only) at the time of bidding failing which the offer will be
summarily rejected. Bidder must also sign on each page of the tender document.
The bid must be accompanied by Earnest Money as mentioned above in the form of DD/FDR in
favour of Sr. Divisional Finance Manager, North Central Railway Jhansi drawn on any
scheduled Bank.
Sealed bids should be dropped in the designated box kept in the office of Sr. Divisional
Commercial Manager, North Central Railway, Divisional Railway Manager Office, Jhansi up to
15:00 hrs of 12.09.2014. Bids shall be opened on the same day at 15:30 hrs in the presence of
Bidder/Bidder’s representatives who choose to attend for which an authority letter of the firm is
required. The onus of dropping the bid in the box lies with the bidder. Bids received after 15:00
hrs will not be considered.
Railway reserve the right to accept/reject any or all Bids without assigning any reason thereof.
Separate tenders should be submitted for separate location and for each individual unit. Bidder
should fill in the prescribed column (on 1st page of Bid document), location of such unit to that
effect. However, allotment of that particular unit at that particular location will not be obligatory
and binding upon the Railway Administration and may vary on the basis of other offers, which
will be purely on the basis of highest bidding e.g. if two or more than two tenderers bid for same
unit, then, the said unit will be allotted to the highest bidder.
The Bidder fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria given
in this Bid document.
