During the stop, he found a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the car. Justin Harold Russo, 31, of Seabrook, was arrested and charged with Possession of a RUSSO Controlled Substance. Busted with Cocaine in Bacliff: On March 12th Cpl. Cook started working on information regarding the whereabouts of a man wanted on an outstanding parole violation warrant. He, along with Deputies Creech and Hill went to the 1100 block of Ave. A in Bacliff and found the man, identified as Gary Lee Allen, 55, of Bacliff. Allen pulled and dropped a bottle from his pocket at the time he was being taken into custody. Cook found the bottle ALLEN contained a quantity of suspected cocaine, packaged in a fashion typical of that used to sell the drug. Allen was charged on the outstanding warrant along with a charge of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Busted with Pills in San Leon: On March 20th Sgt. Cooley, along with Deputies Creech and Hill went to the 1100 block of FM 517 in San Leon attempting to locate a wanted person. They found their man, identified as Larry Wayne Colton, 46, of San Leon. He was found holding a quantity of suspected hydrocodone pills at the time of his arrest. Colton was taken into custody on an outstanding parole board warCOLTON rant, and faces an additional charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. The Seabreeze News 3 Shot at in San Leon: On March 21st Sgt. Cooley and Dep. Creech responded to the 900 block of 6th St. in San Leon regarding a call of “shots fired”. They learned three people had gone to a local hospital, reporting minor injuries as a result of being shot at with a shotgun. Their injuries were later found to be from flying glass that resulted when a man later BREWSTER identified as Ronald Edward Brewster, 42, fired at their vehicle during some sort of argument. Brewster was found at his residence and taken into custody, charged with three counts of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Busted with Meth in Bacliff: On March 25th Dep. Creech stopped a vehicle for traffic violations in the 800 block of Grand Avenue in Bacliff. During the stop, he found the driver, identified as Jason Patrick Barnett, 38, of Crystal Beach, was operating without a license. On being taken into custody, he was also found holding a quantity of suspected methamphetamine. The passenger, 35-year-old Aimee Christine Hromika (also known as Theresa Lynn Greenshields), of Friendswood, had a quantity of carisoprodol and hydrocodone pills. Both were both charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Hromika faces an additional charge of Possession of Dangerous Drugs.
