Nujira’s Coolteq.L family of Envelope Tracking Power
Amplifier power supply modulators are the industry’s highest
performance ET chips for 3G and 4G smartphones.
Supporting the full 20 MHz bandwidth needed for LTE,
the NCT-L1300 delivers twice the power savings of lower
bandwidth ET or fast switching APT components.
Features
Using industry-standard MIPI RFFE and eTrak interfaces,
Coolteq.L is compatible with the vast majority of ET-ready LTE
platform chipsets. Fast mode transition times and a simple,
single-byte MIPI RFFE mode change command make it easy
for chipset vendors to integrate the NCT-L1300.
• 20MHz RF channel bandwidth in ET mode
The high slew rate, low output impedance and wide voltage
swing range of the NCT-L1300 allows simple ISOGAIN™
linearization of most GaAs and CMOS PAs, without needing
complex Digital PreDistortion in the chipset.
The high power output capability and buck-boost architecture
eliminates the need for MPR, typically delivering 28dBm or
more at the PA output, even for LTE signals with high PAPR.
Fully backed by Nujira’s world class ET systems expertise and
support, and protected by more than 200 patents worldwide,
the NCT-L1300 makes Envelope Tracking easy.
