Use of the Flexel® Bag for LevMixer® | Magnetic Mixer from 50L to 1000L
equipped with Easy drain valve (EZD)
A.Introduction

1. Opening of the EZD valve
1.1Push the collar up to unlock
EZD valve and Clip
1.2Push the EZD valve up to open drain
Flexel® Bag for LevMixer® | Magnetic Mixer from 50L to 1000L
can be equipped with one or two EZD valves positioned on the
bottom of the mixing bag. One clip will be delivered with each
mixing bag equipped with one or two EZD valves.
Note: All EZD valves equipped on the mixing bag will be
delivered in CLOSE position.
The 2 EZD valves can be used for filling, sampling or draining
operations.
Note: the EZD valve could also be used for sampling.
! Warning:
In order to maintain the integrity of the mixing bag, only
1 activation is allowed: 1 activation is defined by one
opening and one closing.
1.3Pull collar down to lock
EZD valve in OPEN position during the fluid transfer
(filling, draining or sampling)
2. Closing of the EZD valve
2.1Push the collar up to unlock
EZD valve in CLOSE position during the storage
or mixing process
! Warning:
The use of the EZD valve equipped on a mixing bag 50L
requires specific operations (cf. part D)
! Warning:
The use of the EZD valve when the Palletank® are jacketed
requires operations (cf. part E)
! Warning:
The EZD valve is not compatible with the OLD version of
Palletank manufactured with angular bottom bin.

2.2Pull the EZD valve down to close drain
! Warning:
Do not close the EZD valve by pulling the tube.
Pulling the tube might damage the connection (leakage).
1. Open the EZD valve prior bag installation

osition the clip under the EZD valve (cf. C.2)
–U
se the clip to open the EZD valve following B-1 instructions.
2. For the 50L, insert the drive unit prior bag installation
3.Install the bag into the Palletank®

relevant manual:

4. Start bag filling
5.After bag filling close the EZD valve following B-2 instructions
6.Repeat opening and closing operations on the second EZD valve
to drain the bag
! Warning:
Do not remove the drive unit until the bag is fully emptied
2.3Pull the collar down to lock

1. Open the EZD valve prior bag installation

osition the clip under the EZD valve (cf. C.2)
–U
se the clip to open the EZD valve following B-1 instructions.
2. Install the bag into the Palletank®

3. Start bag filling
4.After bag filling close the EZD valve following B-2 instructions
5.Repeat opening and closing operations on the second EZD valve
to drain the bag
C.Instructions for use for Flexel® Bag for LevMixer® | Magnetic
Mixer from 100L to 1000L using non-jacketed Palletank®
1. Install the bag into the Palletank®
According to the mixing technology used, please refer
to the relevant manual:

– Flexel® Palletank® for LevMixer® 50L | 100L | 200L | 400L | 650 L | 1000 L (Ref. 85037-541-12)
2. Open the EZD valve prior bag filling
– Position the clip under the EZD valve as showed below

se the clip to open the EZD valve following B-1 instructions.
3. Start bag filling
4.After bag filling close the EZD valve following B-2 instructions
5.Repeat opening and closing operations on the second EZD valve
to drain the bag
