“Feed My Starving Children” MobilePack Event
Help turn hunger into hope with your own two hands by
packing nutritious meals for hungry children around the world.
We will be joining with Heartland Community Church in Ripon
to pack food on May 2 and 3 at the Ripon Community Center.

You are invited to join the 9th Annual Ripon Community
National Day of Prayer Service on Thursday, May 1 at 7:00pm
hosted by First Christian Reformed Church at 305 Boesch
Drive in Ripon. We look forward to hearing from area leaders
from Modesto Pregnancy Center, South San Joaquin Irrigation District, and our Police
and Fire Departments as they voice their thanksgivings and concerns about the needs
of our community, water resources and families. Local pastors will be leading in
prayers for our city, family, emergency services, crops and industry, and our state and
nation. The men’s choral group, Voices for the King, will minister in music throughout
the service. Childcare for infants and toddlers will be available and refreshments will be
served following the service.

Sierra Salem Christian Homes Volunteers Needed
Sierra Salem has purchased a fourth home in Modesto and is in the
process of remodeling it to meet the requirements of a home for six
residents with higher needs. Volunteers are needed to tear things
apart and to put things back together. If you have either or both of
these abilities come out and join the fun. Call Cliff Schooland at 209-573-3625 and

Community Announcements
Country Gospel Concert at Immanuel Reformed Church
Come and enjoy an evening of Gospel music! The River of Praise is
privileged to bring a new singing group to the area. This Friday, April
25, Down Home will be giving a concert at Immanuel Christian
Reformed Church, beginning at 7:00pm. Down Home is a Country
Gospel quartet based in Tennessee. A love offering will be taken. Come and enjoy
the enthusiasm this family exhibits while serving and singing for the Lord.

Safe Sitter Class Coming This Summer

register your son or daughter or babysitter for our next Safe Sitter
Class on Wednesday and Thursday, June 11 and 12, 2014 from
9:00am to 3:30pm each day. The class is for adolescents 11 to 13 years of age. The
cost is $35.00 with scholarship availability for those with financial need. Student seats
are limited so call for your registration form early.

learn more about the Bible.
