WHY DECOSPHAERA? The surface agents used in coatings are different. They range from silica, to micronized waxes or wax emulsions/dispersions, to thermoplastic polymer powders. But no one has even come closer to the clarity and the low turbidity of the coating delivered by Decosphaera technology and which is best publicity for the materials themselves. Anyone should appreciate the beauty of the substrates, feel them and even hear them. In very professional sectors and for high-level products campaigning for coatings should always be only natural. And Decosphaera beads they do deliver to the film a very “natural look” (glossy coatings appear as plastic-like and are considered cheap). NATURE OF DECOSPHAERA Decosphaera is an aliphatic filler which delivers both functional and visual/tactile performances in the coating. It is available in different particle sizes and colours. It is suitable for solventborne, waterborne and UV systems. Decosphaera enhances matting efficiency (same gloss level at 20°, 60° and 85°), allows absence of polishing, scratch resistance and no haze. GRADES AND COLOURS Supercolori produces a standard range of Decosphaera (100% dry powder ) that goes from small to coarser grades, each of which gives a specific effect/performance.
