EEA – Electrotehnică, Electronică, Automatică [Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation]

The EEA is inviting papers for Vol. 63, No. 1/2015.
The issue is scheduled to be published on January 31, 2015.
Last date of submission: December 20, 2014.
An early submission will get preference in case of review and publication process.
Scope: The EEA is a scientific journal publishing papers in the field of the engineering both in print and online. The print
and online versions of all papers are identical. The online open access ensures a high visibility of the papers.
The EEA - Electrotehnică, Electronică, Automatică [Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation] journal aims to
publish only those papers that by the new ideas and the results shown to bring significant contributions to research in the
Romanian avant-garde engineering.
In the EEA, there are published original papers, that haven’t been previously published and are not under consideration for
publication somewhere else, as well as papers presented at conferences only if they have not been published (partially or
fully) in the proceedings of that scientific event (min. 6 pages, max. 16 pages), syntheses of research projects, scientific
debates and syntheses on priority themes of fundamental and applied research (max. 20 pages), reviews / reading notes of
the latest scientific and technical books (max. 1 page), commented lists of bibliographic resources in engineering sciences
(max. 8 pages).
The journal publishes research papers in two broad specific sections as follows:
(i) Engineering: Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automatic Control, Mechanics, Mechatronics Power Engineering,
Telecommunications, Transports, Medical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, and so on.
(ii) Miscellanea Section (researches related to Engineering): Business and Management, Environmental Science,
Humanities and Social Science, and so on.
Papers could be written in Romanian, English or French with abstracts and keywords both in Romanian and English. Soon
after the EEA is published on paper or online, each author receives by e-mail a copy of the paper in .pdf format.
Abstracting and indexing: The EEA journal is included in the B+ category by the National Council of Scientific Research
in Higher Education (CNCSIS) and indexed in international data bases: Elsevier, Scopus, Compendex, EBSCO, Ulrich's,
Index Copernicus International. EEA is currently under evaluation by Thomson Reuters - ISI.
Peer-reviewing process: Authors benefit from rigorous and impartial procedures for reading and evaluation (peer review)
of the papers submitted for publication. Manuscripts submitted for publication are double-blinded reviewed by experts
(members of the editorial board, or not) that select for publishing the papers meeting the highest scientific standards.
The average time of a paper review, measured from the moment the submission, is about 3 months.
Soon after your paper is accepted, it may take up to 3 months to be processed before it will be published (this period may
be longer in function of your response promptness to the observations made by the reviewers).
Plagiarism: All submitted papers are checked for originality. Authors are exclusively responsible for the accuracy of
content originality of the paper concerning the calculations, experimental data and scientific assertions, as well as the
linguistic accurateness. The proposals are rejected, if they were published (partially or completely), they have no relevant
scientific content, original features, relevant and timely bibliographic resources, and they have been translated by
automated translation programs. A “Declaration of originality” signed by all authors must accompany each paper.
Paper processing charges
The payment of publishing costs helps the Editorial Board to keep a free open access to the papers published in EEA
journal.
We accept free of charge publication for: 1) invited authors; 2) authors with the most cited papers (including EEA papers in
their bibliographic references) in ISI WoS.
The Editorial Board offer a limited number of papers that are free of processing charges. Authors wishing to apply for this
facility should contact the EEA Editorial Office.
The number of pages of one paper is min. 8-max. 16. Papers must have an even number of pages. The last page should be
occupied by at least 50 % of text. The publishing costs of the first 6 pages of an accepted paper are free of charge. For
each supplementary page (up to 16) an extra-charge of 2 EUR/page has to be paid.
The colour figures in online and print versions are published without additional fees.
