It is a matter of great pleasure for us to inform you that our Department of
Economics is going to organize a One Day FACULTY DEVELOPMENT
PROGRAMME (FDP) on “Research Methodology & Uses of SPSS” on
November 14, 2014
Teaching and research are the backbone of the academic professionals. For
qualititative research, it has become essential to know about the Research
Methodology and research tools. The knowledge of Research methodology provides
the method to solve the research problem in a scientific manner. Research
methodology covers various steps from identification of the research problem to
analyze and interpret the result. For the analysis of research problem, the researcher
needs to know the techniques of data analysis. The present FDP is primarily targeted
at researchers of Economics, Commerce, Management and other related disciplines.
The Programme will provide the knowledge of research methodology (included
research design, hypothesis testing etc) and various data analysis techniques. The
pedagogy will be judicious mix of lectures, group-discussion, demonstration and
practical session of SPSS
You are requested to nominate one or two teachers/research scholars from
Department of Economics, Commerce, Management and other related disciplines of
your institution to attend this Faculty Development Programme. The Registration
Fee of 500/- will be charged from Academicians including teachers, research
scholars. Registration fees should be submitted in the form of a bank draft in favour
of “RKSD College” payable at Kaithal along with attached registration form. The
filled registration form and demand draft should be sent to Dr. Virender Goyal,
FDP Coordinator, R.K.S.D. (PG) College, Kaithal latest by 8th November, 2014
as the participation will be limited to 30 only. Please feel free to call the FDP
Coordinator for further enquiry.
Participants are requested to bring their own laptops if possible. No TA/DA shall be
paid for participation.
