Dear Friends,
The EastLake Educational Foundation (EEF) would like to invite you to join us for our upcoming
19th Annual EEF Golf Tournament, the Stan Canaris Invitational which will be taking place on
Monday, August 4th at the Eastlake Country Club in Chula Vista. We are gearing up for a bigger
and better event than ever before!
A very important component of this fun filled day is our community sponsors! We are asking
you to sponsor this year’s event in the amount of your choice. As always your gift is tax
deductible, will be listed in our program, and announced in a thank you advertisement
featured in My Hometown Magazine.
EEF is committed to providing local children with the best possible public education; with your
support the EEF will grant over $120,000 for technology to our schools for the 2014-2015 school
year! Technology helps students acquire the skills they need to survive in a complex and ever
changing working climate and inspires innovation, and fosters growth in self-confidence,
communication, leadership, and builds real life skills.
While the majority of funding for public education comes from the state and local taxes, these
sources are unable to fully fund programs which are needed to educate our children for the
global, competitive environment in which they will live and work in the future.
Nicole will be following up with you shortly and would love to discuss with you how we can have
you involved this year! We would like to finalize sponsorships by mid-July, or earlier to provide
the most marketing opportunity possible for your company. Please feel free to contact Nicole at
619-997-6470 or [email protected] for questions and/or obtaining additional information.
Thank you so much for your consideration! I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Warm regards,
Lourdes Ramos
