Every organization has its heroes. Who are yours? The Brandywine Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals is accepting nominations for its 2014 Awards. The Chapter issues annual awards during its Philanthropy Day Celebration, which is held each year to recognize and pay tribute to contributions that philanthropists and philanthropy make in the community. Nominations are being sought for the following awards: NAME OF NOMINEE • Philanthropy Awards honoring individuals and organizations that have made a significant impact on a cause, project or program through effective fundraising and volunteer support. NAME OF ORGANIZATION NOMINEE HAS HELPED IF NOMINEE IS A CORPORATION OR FOUNDATION, PLEASE PROVIDE CONTACT MAILING ADDRESS OF NOMINEE • Volunteer Award highlighting philanthropic service with charitable institutions including fundraising activity. • Youth in Philanthropy Award for individual youths and/or youth groups, 22 years of age and under, who have made a significant impact on a cause or program through fundraising or volunteer activities. • Fundraising Executive Award recognizes an individual with at least ten years experience as a fundraising executive and whose professional performance, service to the profession and the community are an inspiration. The nominee must be a member of AFP. • Rising Star Award recognizes a fundraising executive with five years or less experience who shows strong leadership potential. The nominee must be a member of AFP.
