ANIC-20KH
Dual 10 GE, Low Profile Capture/In-Line Adapter
The ANIC-20KH is a state of the art 10 GE Gen 2 PCI Express Card
designed for demanding Network Monitoring and Application Offload
applications. The ANIC-20KH features two SFP+ Interfaces which supports
both Copper twin-ax and Optical Modules supporting SR, LRE and LRM
Modules.
The ANIC-20KH features a scalable pipelined architecture, implemented
in an state-of-the-art FPGA supported by a high performance DDR2
Memory sub-system. The ANIC-20KH is designed to offload Host CPU
in applications that demand full 20 Gbps Lossless Packet Capture at all
Packet Sizes.
Host offload functions include Time Stamping, Packet Filtering, Packet
Re-ordering, Packet Slicing and Hash based Classification. The ANIC-20KH
features a high performance DMA sub-system for efficient burst transfers
of data across the 8 Lane PCI Express Bus. The ANIC-20KH presents data
in a programmable number of Buffer Rings which enable load balancing to
optimize use of Multi-Core CPU Resources.
Timing Sub-System
The ANIC-20KH applies a time stamp to all captured packets to a
resolution of 8 nS. The timing sub-system offers a Temperature Controlled
Crystal Oscillator (TCXO) as a stable high precision clock source. The
Adapter provides a flexible timing sub-system which accepts a 1 PPS serial
interface to external GPS and CDMA timing sources. It also features a 1
PPS bus for synchronization of multiple ANICs in a system.
Software Support
The ANIC-20KH is available complete with a software development guide
that includes diagnostics, Linux and Windows Drivers and a comprehensive
API supporting all embedded services such as Filtering, Classification,
Packet Steering, Timing Sub-system control and configuration.
