Achievements so far
Based on a successful experience with the New INDIGO Partnership
Programme (NPP)
4 multilateral calls were implemented under New INDIGO : 35
research and networking projects // Total funding: 11 100 000 €
15 different European funding agencies and 2 from India (DST and
DBT)
Objectives:
Funding joint R&D activities between EU MS/AC and India
Initiating new networks and reinforcing existing ones
Fostering sustainable collaboration between EU MS/AC funding
agencies and Indian funding Agencies
INNO INDIGO will implement at least 3 multilateral calls for
proposals in thematic areas of common interest for EU and India

modalities
Type of projects: R&D collaborative projects of
3-years duration
Amount of funding: 150 000 € per partner/per
project
Consortium: 2 European partners + 1 Indian
partner
Funding principle: Each funding body finances
its respective national/regional research groups,
according to its national/regional rules. Virtual
common pot with juste-retour-principle

2nd Joint Call is scheduled for February 2015

Application process
Eligible applicants:
- Public & private RTD entities, higher education
establishments as well as SMEs according to national
rules of the funding countries
- Multilateral projects: 2 European partners + 1 Indian
partners
Eligible costs:
- Mobility; workshops; equipment; consumables and
personnel costs
- Eligibility of costs depends on national regulations

Online submission tool – light submission form / one
project leader is responsible for the submission
