Programmes and Projects Chief Directorate: Electricity Infrastructure/ Industry Transformation Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Procurement Programme (REIPPPP) By: Lazarus Mahlangu Mandate • To oversee programmes and projects focused on the development, improvement and transformation of the electricity generation, transmission and distribution sector, and the Independent Power Producers (IPP). • Monitor and report on strategic projects emanating from the Integrated Resource Plan 2010. • Enhance and facilitate the sustainable development of the electricity industry. • Ensure alignment with overall government objective for inclusive growth.
