Here in the States, Patrick listed "Ship's Carpenter" as his occupation so that might tie in with Galway as well. We also found a Patrick FALLON of the right age who emigrated to the United States on the ship "Liberty" which sailed from Liverpool and arrived in New York City on December 2, 1948. At that time, Patrick was 24 years old. Other passengers on that voyage with the name of FALLON were: Bessey FALLON, 17; Ellen FALLON, 20; and John FALLON, 20. Whether they were related to Patrick, I do not know. We know that Patrick FALLON was close to a family named MULVIHILL who had roots near or at least a love of the Shannon River. Here in the States, they had a farm that they called Shannondale Farms. Patrick was married in the United States to a Mary WATERS, also from Ireland, on July 21, 1850. All we know about her is that she was born around 1933. A ship called the "American" sailed from Liverpool to New York and arrived on December 4, 1846 with a passenger named Mary WATERS and one named Patrick WATERS.
