Daniel immigrated 1853 and Catherine 1856 according to the 1900 census which asks
for this information. Daniel married secondly to Bridget FAY who married first to
John ETHELL. Bridget FAY ETHELL died a few years later. In Daniel's obituary it
says "His second marriage to a distant relative grew out of his childhood memories of

FALLON - (I am looking for info on my great grandfather, Patrick Francis FALLON,
born on January 6th, 1838 in either County Galway or Mayo. Patrick emigrated to the
states sometime between 1856 and 1866. He settled first in Flemingsburg, KY and
later in Sherman, Texas where he died in 1928. He had known relatives in Dunmore
in 1931 who were sons of his sister Cecelia FALLON (born 1846, died in Ireland
1930). The son’s names were James, Michael and William CONNELLEY, all living
in Dunmore in 1931. Patrick’s parents were William FALLON and Margaret
CONNORS, both born about 1818 in Ireland. He had 5 siblings in addition to Cecelia
who were all born in Ireland and emigrated later to the states. They are Tobias
FALLON b. 1847; Margaret FALLON b. 1849; Mary E. FALLON b. 1854; John J.
FALLON b. 1858; and Delia J. FALLON b. 1861. I am trying to establish birthplaces
or residences in Ireland for any of the above, and also any descendants of the
CONNELLEY brothers. Most likely all of the above are from around the Dunmore

FALLON - (My name is Jim FALLON and I am trying to find the ancestral roots in
Ireland of my great-great grandfather, Patrick C. FALLON. All I know for sure about
him is that he was born somewhere in Ireland on August 22, 1825. Galway County
might be an area that he was from since we found a Pat FALLON who joined the
Royal Irish Constabulary in 1845 at 20 years of age and was from Galway County.
Here in the States, Patrick listed "Ship's Carpenter" as his occupation so that might tie
in with Galway as well. We also found a Patrick FALLON of the right age who
emigrated to the United States on the ship "Liberty" which sailed from Liverpool and
arrived in New York City on December 2, 1948. At that time, Patrick was 24 years
old. Other passengers on that voyage with the name of FALLON were: Bessey
FALLON, 17; Ellen FALLON, 20; and John FALLON, 20. Whether they were
related to Patrick, I do not know. We know that Patrick FALLON was close to a
family named MULVIHILL who had roots near or at least a love of the Shannon
River. Here in the States, they had a farm that they called Shannondale Farms. Patrick
was married in the United States to a Mary WATERS, also from Ireland, on July 21,
1850. All we know about her is that she was born around 1933. A ship called the
"American" sailed from Liverpool to New York and arrived on December 4, 1846
with a passenger named Mary WATERS and one named Patrick WATERS. We could
find no ages for these two,so are unsure if this may be the right Mary WATERS.),

Mary was listed on the shipping list as a domestic servant. Mary FARRELL married
William RICHARDSON at the Star of the Sea Catholic church in Wallaroo, South
Australia in 1864. The three sisters are buried side by side in the Catholic section of

GORMAN who was born 1811 in Ireland. I don't know if they were married in
Ireland or England. However they lived and died in St.Helens, Lancashire, England.
They had two children James born 1837 and John born 1839 in Windle, St.Helens,
Lancashire, England, for which I have their birth certificates. I believe Richard had a
brother James born 1813 Ireland who married Catherine [???] born 1820/1 Ireland.
They had a daughter Mary born 1838/9 in England. My problem is I can find no birth

1838 (Birth date from English census), Her father’s name was Patrick. First records in
England (Staffordshire) - daughter Bridget GLEESON's birth certificate December
1854, then son Patrick's birth certificate April 1857, then 1861 Census. Julia married
to John GLEESON (CLAYSON) before going to England, She was widowed
sometime between July 1856 and April 1861 - "widow" on census return. She married

went to Pennsylvania. He applied for citizenship in Schuylkill County. They went on
to southern Indiana where he bought land in 1833. He left daughter with someone,
went to New Orleans, and married Hannah LANE in 1835. Son Peter was born in
Kentucky in 1836. (Perhaps they knew someone there to help with baby.) John was
well-respected in community. He opened his house to priest who travelled through
southern IN for Mass and sacraments. Daughter Ellen was born in 1838. John died in
1847, is buried at St. Mary of the Knobs. Peter wrote a letter to "Cousin"; it was found
in his Bible. This is where we got information. We don't know what happened to his
