TCCASA is raising
awareness on the
“RED RIBBON CAMPAIGN”
organized by the
National Family Partnership
(NFP).
It was created in 1980 by
parents who believed in drug
prevention. After thirty –four
years, NFP is a leader in drug
prevention and education .
Red Ribbon Week began in
1985 after DEA Agent
Enrique Camarena was
murdered. Parents & youth
began to wear red ribbons in
support of drug prevention
& education in America.
On Saturday, September 27th, 2014
TCCASA, along with the
Tioga County Sheriff’s Office,
collected
58.54 lbs
of un-used prescription medications.
G.I.R.LS. Program
TCCASA will soon begin a health and fitness program targeting middle and high school
girls. The program will incorporate healthy eating with exercise in order to create or
maintain a healthy lifestyle. Girls will work on increasing their self-esteem and learn
how to make positive choices. If you know any girls that would be interested in this
program, please contact us at (607) 687-6349.
Are you interested in
volunteering as a fitness coach for a
program aimed at middle & high school
aged girls? This program will run after
school from 3:00-4:00pm based on a
schedule that works for you.

Tammy Borrelli has joined TCCASA
as a Prevention Educator. She
comes to us with 15 years of
experience in the drug and alcohol
field and she is a Credentialed
Alcohol and Substance Abuse
Counselor (CASAC).
Heather Quigley has joined TCCASA as
a Program Assistant. She comes to us
with 9 years of experience in human
services. She is pursuing her Bachelor’s
Degree in Human & Community
Services through SUNY Empire State
College.
TCCASA is a non-profit organization dedicated to positively influencing
adolescents in our community. Any donations are greatly appreciated
