WTF G1 Swiss Open 2014, Lausanne - Switzerland (7 - 8 June 2014) ATTENTION: To all Teams, Coaches and Athletes participating in SWISS OPEN 2014 In less than two months, Swiss Open will take place in the Olympic City of Lausanne, Switzerland, 7-8 June, 2014. On behalf of the Swiss Taekwondo Federation, it is our great pleasure to invite you and your athletes to participate to the WTF G1 Official Ranking Tournament Swiss Open 2014, with Daedo PSS + Dartfish Instant Video Replay + Taekoplan (http://www.tpss.nl). The championship is open to only Seniors Categories, holders of Kukkiwon Black Belts. As stated in the invitation, the registration should be closed when reaching 350 Athletes. We had to increase the number till 400 Maximum, but now we have around 450 competitors. Because we have only 4 courts, we can only allow 400 competitors and we are trying to remove 50 Competitors from the list. No new entries are allowed anymore despite the large number of teams waiting for an authorization. For the moment the tournament is open ONLY for changes and modifications till May 10th, 2014. We would appreciate if you can follow the latest instructions, in order to keep your place and to have a smooth organization. 1. THE WTF GLOBAL LICENCE (GAL & GOL) IS MANDATORY to participate in this tournament for all athletes and officials. WTF Global Licence registrations & renewals can only be made through the WTF recognized Member National Associations and application should be made at least 1 month before the tournament to ensure the licence can be processed in time. Onsite registration for GAL is not possible. Competitors must upload a valid GAL number in TPSS website. Competitors without proof of WTF GAL will be refused participation. Officials including coaches will only be allowed with a GOL number, officials must upload a valid GOL number. 2. Modification and Replacement: You can still modify your entries, changing names, changing weight categories, changing Dan Grades, removing competitors, checking and removing duplicate entries and add officials. No more addition for new competitors. Some Teams have registered a list of numbers without names. Please modify your list and make the necessary modifications including all details. Please check if your registered athletes are competing. If not, please delete their entries in order to allow other athletes to register. Competitors and officials are requested to upload their ID photos for the accreditation. Any accreditations without picture will not be allowed to access the Field of Play and a penalty of 25.00 euro will have to be paid cash during registration if photos are missing or uploaded incorrectly. Register all your officials and ask for their accreditation, as no officials will be allowed to join the Field of Play without the official Accreditation. 3. Deadline for Application: all entries must be paid in advance before May 1st. Entries after deadline will not be accepted. Unpaid athletes will be automatically removed from the competition without any further notice. Registrations are only valid when payments have been received and can be confirmed by the Bank and the Organizer. € 75 (Euro) for each contestant before dead line € 80 (Euro) for each contestant after dead line. There will be no refund if a registered competitor fails to show up for the competition.
