OUR COMPANY
GemmeCotti Srl has been producing pumps for
acids and dangerous liquids, mixers, filters and
compressors since 1992, when its founders started
their own company after considerable experience in
pump design and production.
Over the years, GemmeCotti has created its own
range of pumps for acids designed and manufactured
by its experienced team of experts that was able to
produce technologically advanced pumps which are
resistant to aggressive chemical agents and that are
now valued the world over.
GemmeCotti pumps are successfully used in many
different industries including:
chemical and petrochemical, pharmaceutical,
oil refinery, electroplating, printed circuits,
electronic, photography, military, water treatments,
biotechnology, paper mills, textile, sugar plants, food
processing, dairies and many others.
THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
In 2007 GemmeCotti obtained the ISO 9001:2000 certification,
a clear proof of their dedication to constant improvement
and desire to offer high quality service and products.
The quality management system has then been updated
according to the requirements of the new ISO 9001:2008.
With the constant desire to meet customers’ expectations
and offer them the best support and products, Gemme Cotti
constantly seeks to improve every business process: from
the technical and production department, to the marketing
and sales office.
Every aspect is developed and organized so that the company
can be competitive and flexible on the pump market and
can maintain the position of leading supplier of pumps for
chemicals.

PRODUCT QUALITY
GemmeCotti’s first aim is to understand the customers’
requirements and supply the best product suitable for
their needs.
The sales and technical office are able to select the
right pumps model and the recommended material
for the requested application using the company’s
know-how together with up-to-date software tools.
Once chosen, the pump can be manufactured. All the
parts of the pumps come from qualified suppliers
and they are checked and machined carefully by
highly skilled GemmeCotti personnel to assure the
compliance to the technical constructive drawings.
After the assembly our pumps are then all tested one
by one in our new and modern test bench to check
the performances and the good functioning before
shipping them to the customer. Thanks to a fully
stocked warehouse, GemmeCotti can store most of
the parts of the standard pumps, so that in case of
urgent request, we are able to supply rapidly to the
customer both pumps and spare parts.

GemmeCotti corporate policy is oriented to quality and continuous improvement. Our main purpose
is to become “Privileged supplier” of our customers for pumps for acids and dangerous liquids and
to maintain this status. We want to offer the best products and the best service possible with an

It is designed so that every single pump model has its own detailed description and technical
drawings and, from a dedicated section, it’s possible to download all the PDF catalogues. Moreover,
the customer using a chemical resistance chart can proceed with a first selection of the pump type
and material suitable for his application before contacting our sales office.

Mechanical seal centrifugal pumps series HCO
are made of thermoplastic materials and are
suitable to pump high corrosive liquids and
liquids with solids.
The seal of pumps HCO size 95-10 is guaranteed by
a special elastomeric lip seal, while all the other
pump sizes (from size 110 to 170) are equipped
with an internal PTFE bellows mechanical seal

Liquid ring vacuum pumps are available in 3
different designs: VPM: magnetic drive, sealless
pump, VPS: close coupled design with single
mechanical seal, VPL: standard execution with
single mechanical seal.
VPS/VPL pumps are designed in a conventional
overhung impeller design meanwhile VPM pumps
have an impeller with both side support.
They are suitable for operating with both toxic

PORTABLE PUMPS
SERIES H-IBC
The pumping system for IBC tanks is a portable
device composed of a mag drive centrifugal pump
series HTM PP/PVDF, laced in a frame so that it can
be easily moved.
This system is suitable for several uses, and it is
portable.
The pump, placed in a proper structure, can
be removed from an IBC container’s attack and
connected to another, thanks to quick couplings.

DRY-RUNNING PROTECTION
The dry-running protection is a useful device
that prevents expensive damage to pumps.
It avoids the dry-running working, the closed
discharge and the blocked suction and it’s
particularly indicated for unloading tank truck or
every other application in which it's not sure that
the liquid is constantly present in the pipes.
