Fleet Sheet 1/2” Quick Fix® The newly redesigned Quick Fix® assembly makes fixing air brake hoses easier than ever. These all brass pieces are available in 1/2” and 3/8” NPTF swivel ends. Go From this... To This Installation Instructions Step 2. Step 1. Trim the hose end and place the sleeve on until flush with the hose. Place the greased barb into the sleeve end, push and turn barb hex to start the threads. Step 4. OR If necessary to keep the sleeve from turning, place crescent wrench on integrated hex flats and hold sleeve in place. Using a socket wrench or another wrench, place it on the barb hex and continue to push and turn until the barb hex is flush to the top of the sleeve. Step 3. With the barb threads already started, hold sleeve and hose from turning. Align swivel hex and barb hex and place 7/8 deep well socket over swivel hex and on to barb hex. Screw the barb hex in using a socket wrench or crescent wrench. Step 5. OR Once the barb hex is flush to the sleeve your hose end is complete and ready for installation.
