Corporate Membership Information About OOWA Established in 1999, the Ontario Onsite Wastewater Association (OOWA) is dedicated to providing access to a large network of Onsite Wastewater Professionals throughout Ontario. Our members are at the front line of rural development, to support onsite systems as a viable permanent wastewater servicing option. OOWA’s volunteer board of directors and committees work with government agencies such as Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing, Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Natural Resources, participating on technical advisory committees to ensure safe practices are developed and implemented protecting Ontario’s environment and health of residents .
