development and engagement. He has gained his experience
in differing industries like hospitality, FMCG, cosmetics,

Mark’s fundamental belief is that pragmatic, integrated
solutions work best in the world of talent engagement and
development - and that often times, less is more!
Dr Nitin More is the head of L&D for APAC at Facebook. He
has a PhD in linguistics and has been in the L&D domain for
more than ten years across various industries like publishing,
e-learning, medical transcription, and online media. He has
presented in various conferences and companies. Apart from
L&D, he is passionate about theatre and Indian music.

Deependra Sengar is the head of SEA HR Operations at
Microsoft. He is an MBA from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, India and has more than 20 years of
work experience in companies like GE, IBM and also had
own startup venture. Before joining corporate he was in
the Special Forces where he got wounded in combat and
was hospitalized for a year, but recovered and has been in
corporate since. He has worked in South Asian countries for
last six years and has published articles on leadership and
on talent management in AHRD publication and in various
other journals.
In light of rapid globalisation and technological
advancements, the HR function needs to evolve to stay
relevant. To that end, our HR business partners need to be able
to think in terms of business goals and numbers. Explore how to
break the silo mentality by cross-training our HR practitioners
in different operational aspects of the organisation.

Formerly the VP of Global HR, Applied Global Service at Applied
Materials, Eugene has more than 18 years of experience in
Human Resource Management (HRM), having held both
geographic and business partner HR leadership roles. He has
led HR country and functional teams across emerging markets
and his competencies include broad spectrum of human
capital areas including HR Strategy, Recruitment and Selection,
