Checkout from the hotel(s) in Athens
9:30 - 11:00
Orientation and briefing of the EEC at HQA headquarters in Athens
11:30 – 13:30 Travel to Tripoli (2 hour trip approx, transportation will be arranged by the
University)
Meet with the Head of the hosting Academic Unit and his staff, who will lead
the
Committee
to
the
hotel
Mainalon
Resort

Brief meeting with the Head of the Unit
Evening
Brief meeting of the EEC members at the hotel to discuss details and
prepare for the meetings of the two following days
Tuesday, 04 Feb. 2014, 2nd Day
9:00 - 16:30
Meeting with Head of the Unit, the Rector and the Vice Rector (who is also
heading the Institution’s Quality Assurance Unit), followed by a brief meeting
with the Internal Evaluation Committee of the evaluated Institution

17:00 - 19:00 Meeting of the EEC members at the hotel, in order to discuss the findings of
the day and to draft comments and notes
Wednesday, 05 Feb. 2014, 3rd Day:
9:00 - 14:00 Additional interviews, meetings and visits at Departmental facilities (library,
computer labs, dormitories, athletic installations etc.), as planned by the
Department and/or as requested by the EEC
Exit meeting with the Head of the Department and the Head of the
Institution’s Quality assurance Unit (MODIP)
15.00 - 17:00 Return to Athens (2 hours, transportation will be arranged by the University)
Meeting of the EEC members at the Divani Palace Acropolis Hotel to draft
comments and notes
Thursday & Friday, 06-07 Feb. 2014, 4th and 5th Day:
9:00 - 18:00
Work on the final Draft of the Report in Athens, at the conference room
reserved by the HQA at the Divani Palace Acropolis Hotel
Saturday, 08 Feb, 2014, Departure Day:
9:00 – 14:00 The Draft Report is finalised, signed and submitted to the HQA
Departure of the EEC from Athens

Lunch and coffee breaks will be scheduled by the hosting Department and the EEC as
appropriate
The EEC retains the authority to modify details of the above at its discretion
