IES OU - The University of Oklahoma

The quality of education is a vital component to the health and future wellbeing of any community. As a public institution the mission of the
University of Oklahoma is to provide the best possible educational experience for our students through excellence in teaching, research and
creative activity, and service to the state and society. In an effort to meet that mission we are developing a new honorary society: The
Innovative Education Society (IES). This society will provide an opportunity for a select group of students to discuss and develop innovative
ideas to improve learning (birth through graduate school) with faculty, experts, and policymakers.
