AECOM Integrated Management System Policy

AECOM Integrated
Management System Policy
Purpose
AECOM is a company of multi-disciplinary professionals around the world united by a common purpose:
To create, enhance and sustain the world’s built, natural and social environments.
To achieve this purpose, AECOM implements an Integrated Management System (IMS) that provides both a consistent
platform for operations and the capability to manage change and adversity.
Commitment
AECOM is committed to promoting a culture of continual improvement in the management of our business through the
following:
–– Conducting all business activities in accordance with our Core Values: Integrity; Safety; Excellence; Innovation;
Clients; Employees; Agility; and Profitable Growth.
–– Compliance with all applicable legal obligations and other requirements related to our business activities.
–– Continually improving all areas of our business while striving to improve the effectiveness of our IMS.
–– Providing a framework for establishing and reviewing appropriate business objectives and targets.
–– Supporting the professional development of our employees.
–– Providing services in a manner that both meets client requirements and enhances client satisfaction by using our
expertise and experience to deliver a quality product.
–– Preventing illness of and injury to our employees and others who may be affected by our activities.
–– Implementing effective pollution prevention and waste reduction programs.
Implementation
To consistently deliver world–class, sustainable solutions, we adhere to our IMS as appropriate to our internal support
functions, technical practice areas and scopes of work for our clients. The IMS, which is specifically designed to manage
all aspects of our work, is implemented consistently throughout the organization. A key advantage of adopting this unified
approach is to capitalize on our one AECOM culture and to maintain consistency throughout our diverse offerings of
geographies, business lines and end markets. This mitigates risk and promotes compliance with statutory, legal, company
and client requirements related to our work practices.
The implementation of the IMS enables us to fulfill our business obligations while allowing us to further improve the
reputation, integrity and performance of AECOM.
Review
This policy will be formally reviewed annually. However, if substantial changes occur in legislation, our organization and/or
other business drivers, changes may be made on an interim basis.
Communication
This policy will be communicated to persons working for or on behalf of AECOM and will also be made available to other
stakeholders upon request.
Additional communication materials may also be provided by various functional areas within AECOM to support and
enhance the implementation and awareness of the IMS and its requirements. These materials will be developed,
distributed and controlled in accordance with the requirements of the IMS.
