The new DVB-S2X IP encapsulator is interoperable with all of WORK Microwave’s modems and is the perfect
solution for operators needing to transmit baseband frames over IP. It is fully compliant with all DVB satellite
standards, including the new DVB-S2X standard, providing operators with a future-proof solution.
The DVB-S2X IP encapsulator features a high-performance engine and scalable design, making it equally
suitable for large VSAT networks of up to 50,000 remotes as well as trunk link networks with high throughput only
connecting several stations. The type of operation can be selected separately for the application. The trunk link
setup is identical with WORK Microwave modems, while the VSAT type setup is designed to be easily
exchangeable with network management servers, PEPs and other network equipment.
The powerful feature set of the DVB-S2X IP encapsulator includes OptiACM support to optimize throughput and
increase network bandwidth. It is interoperable with the company’s IP modems over baseband IP/all-IP
infrastructure for easy integration.
