Xanthan Gum Instructions
Please follow these instructions carefully to ensure you get the best results from your
MessySupplies gunge powder.

Mixing Your Gunge:
1. Empty 1 bag of powder into a bucket. Ensure the powder is evenly distributed.
2. Add 8-10 litres of luke warm water and begin thoroughly mixing, with a hand blender, as soon as
the water is added. At first the powder will clump together, don't worry this is normal.

3. Keep mixing the gunge with the hand blender for between 5-10 minutes. Make sure you move
the hand blender around and get right to the bottom of the bucket ensuring all powder gets
thoroughly mixed in. Beware powder will congregate at the bottom if not mixed properly!

4. The gunge will start to thicken, although this may take several minutes before it becomes
noticeable. Once it has thickened leave to stand for an hour, stirring regularly, before use.
5. If you want the gunge to settle further, leave overnight. We recommend this as it improves the
quality of the gunge. If the gunge is too thick, add luke warm water ensuring it is thoroughly mixed.
Vivid Enhancement Colouring:
Pour or squirt the colouring into the gunge. Mix the colouring using your hand until it has all
thoroughly blended. Remember the colouring is heavier than the gunge, so if it is not mixed
thoroughly it will congregate at the bottom of the bucket.

Clean Off:
The best & most effective way to clean Xanthan Gum off your body and clothing is to first remove
as much loose gunge as possible. Then, while wearing your messy clothing, shower and allow the
water to remove the gunge. We recommend using a mesh sponge to remove the residual gunge
from your skin. Our gunge should not stain skin, hair or clothing if washed off immediately after the
gunging. Although for peace of mind we recommend using old clothing just to be on the safe side.

Disposal:
Xanthan Gum CANNOT be disposed of down the plug hole as it may cause blockages. We
recommend disposing of Xanthan Gum in water tight bin liners / buckets. Check your local
authority guidelines prior to disposing.
