the commons all
throughout June to find out how to get involved with this
years VBS, Weird Animals. You will find dona on slips,
volunteer sign ups, and registra on forms. You can also
sign your child(ren) up online.
WORKER SCREENING
For anyone interested in working with our Children's
Ministry but has not been screened there will be a
children's worker screening on June 29 in the sanctuary
during the Sunday School hour.

KEENAGERS BREAKFAST
Tuesday, June 3 at 9a. All of our senior retirees meet at
Bob Evans in Eaton for breakfast.
ZUMBA CLASS
Zumba meets on Mondays, Tuesdays & Thursdays from
6:30 7:30p. Everyone is asked to bring $3/class. Classes
are taught by Heather Gregory (certified Zumba instruc
tor).

“BABY STEPS” WALK
Birthright of Eaton is sponsoring a “Baby Steps” Walk on
Saturday, June 21st from 9a Noon starting at the
Courthouse Lawn. Walkers of all ages are welcome! Ask
people to pledge you (by the walk not by the mile).

Gift cards can be purchased or ordered in the commons
after Sunday School and it benefits our missions fund at
the same time!
SUNDAY SCHOOL PROMOTION & GRADUATION SUNDAY
JUNE 1
Children’s Sunday School classes will transition and pro
mote their students to the next grade on Graduation Sun
day, June 1st. We’ll be celebrating during the Sunday
School hour in the Family Life Center with presentation of
certificates and a time of fellowship with donuts & coffee.
Our High School & College graduates will also be recog
nized in the morning services.
KEENAGERS CONCERT
On June 12 the Townesmen & Shelly Quartet is coming to
Salem Church of God. The Keenagers have been invited to
a catered lunch at noon with the concert following at 1p.
There will be a free will o ering for the quartet. Lunch
cost is $7.00 and the menu is: pulled pork, au gra n pota
toes, carrots, coleslaw, and assorted pies. Please sign up at
the Welcome Center by Sunday, June 1.

Hearts of Love Room 102 Dick Shimp, Facilitator
This class is studying “HOW CAME THE BIBLE? The turbulent
and fascina ng history of the world's greatest Book”.
A ministry for young adults aging from 18 (high school
graduate) to 29 years.
Study of the Bible Room 204 Bryan Scholl, Facilitator
This class takes Biblical characters and does a biographical pro
file on them, currently studying David. Also, oOnce a month
they also discuss current Chris an events.
Sunday School @ 9:45a in Room 208
Bible Study on Sunday evenings: At Emily Eck’s
(461 Little League Dr., Eaton). Meet at 6pm for
dinner with a study to follow around 7pm. We
will be studying the Fruit of the Spirit.

Their study will look at the strong resolu ons of faith, family
and fatherhood that sets men on a course toward long term
success.

Our choir and orchestra are o for the summer
and will pick back up when school starts (stay

to get plugged in with worship over the summer!
