Mr. CK Tang, BSEEP Component 4 Consultant CK Tang was the author of the Technical Guideline for Energy Efficiency in Buildings for the Malaysian building industry under the scope of UNDP – JKR, Building Sector Energy Efficiency Project (BSEEP). He is a professional consultant with proven background in energy efficiency, building performance simulation, writing of technical guidelines and the development of software for the design of low energy building. Over the past 15 years, he has completed 3 demonstration low energy buildings in Malaysia and has design and implemented more than 10 buildings with energy efficiency features. 2. Ar. Michael Ching Chee Hoong, GBI Accreditation Panel (GBIAP) Member Ar. Michael Ching is the Company Director of CH+I Architecture Sdn Bhd and BGreen Design Sdn Bhd, both established in 2010. He is currently a Board Member of Malaysia Green Building Confederation (MGBC) and a research committee of Green Pages Malaysia (GPM). He is also an active member in the PAM Professional Practice Committee and as well the PAM Youth Committee. With over 13 years of experience, Ar. Michael Ching continues his passion and active interest in Green Design. His works has been recognized in the field of sustainability with the recently awarded Silver Award from My Dream Home 2011 under the Green Home Category. The event was jointly organized by the Haven (The Edge), PAM and IPDM. He is also the recipient for the ‘30 Under 40’ Emerging Architects in Malaysia, an event held by PAM in 2011. 3. Ir. Looi Hip Peu, BSEEP Consultant Ir. Looi Hip Peu is a practicing engineer with more than 30 years of experience. He is a founding director of Mektricon Sdn Bhd (established since 1983), a firm of consulting engineers involved in a wide repertoire of projects from large industrial plants and townships to commercial developments and small bungalows. Ir. Looi has more than 13 years of experience in standards development; being member / contributing author at national level to various technical committees and workgroups. Ir. Looi is an active member of the engineering community. He was the Hon Secretary of ACEM from 2003 to 2006 and again from 2010 to 2012. He is the past president of the Malaysia Green Building Confederation. He is currently serving as a consultant in BSEEP.
