VACANCY NO. 01/2014 – SENIOR ENGINEER ISP
The Senior Engineer ISP is responsible for carrying out work to plan, deploy and manage the ISP core IT
systems, network, security systems, Connect mail service and SME systems. The position also requires
the incumbent to provide support on internet services, product design and end-user issues and to ensure
Network and Systems security is always maintained and updated.
Key Accountabilities:






Plan, Install, configure, test and deploy approved changes on ISP network elements including routers,
switches and BRAS ( including access list management, IP pool, routing & RADIUS redirection)
Management of the ISP network – monitor, support and maintain the ISP network infrastructure to
meet performance levels (KPIs) required by the business.
Management of business customer internet links - monitor, support and maintain business customer
internet links on Leased Line, MPLS and VTSAT networks within agreed SLA levels.
Security management – monitor and manage performance of the ISP security systems such as
firewalls, Ironport mail scanner and Fortinet.
Connect mail service management – monitor and manage Connect mail and virtual mail systems and
their security.
Business and end-user support – provide L2 support to customers facing internet, e-mail and internet
network issues.
Qualification and Experience:

Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Information Technology, Computing Science or Electronics Engineering
from a recognized tertiary institution with relevant experience.
Cisco CCNA certification a must
CCNP desirable
Security certification desirable.
Minimum 3 years of progressive relevant experience in a similar role.
VACANCY NO. 02/2014 – ENGINEER ISP
The Engineer ISP is responsible for carrying out work to plan, deploy and manage the ISP core IT

requires the incumbent to provide support on internet services product design and end-user issues.
