Jon Buggy Joins RSP as Principal
MINNEAPOLIS (8.13.14) – Jon Buggy, AIA, NCARB, is joining RSP Architects as Principal,
effective September 1. Jon’s extensive experience in healthcare and business development
will help RSP’s growing healthcare studio expand. His experience and insight will influence
other areas of the firm as RSP continues to build its national practice.

Jon said. “RSP has been building an impressive portfolio and I look forward to helping take the practice to the next
level. The right mix is there: design strength, a strong client following, and dedication to project management and
client service. I think RSP is very well positioned to do big things and I’m energized to be a part of it.”
David Norback, RSP president, told staff of the hire last night, citing Jon’s energy, talent and passion as perfect fits
for the firm. “We look forward to Jon’s leadership in building the firm, expanding our healthcare practice and
mentoring younger designers,” Dave said. “He had several options to consider and RSP is honored and excited to
have him join our firm.”
Jon was most recently a Director at Gensler and prior to that, he spent 24 years at AECOM (formerly Ellerbe Becket).
While at AECOM, Jon was Managing Principal, supervising a 200+ architectural, interior design and engineering
practice while also leading their healthcare practice. At Gensler, Jon worked with their health and wellness practice
group, corporate/workplace, mission critical and higher education practice areas.
