Sheet 1 / Face 2 Triple connecting conveyor from Tetra Hoyer Flowrap MW to three Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 interleaver/stackers. Application Interleaving and stacking of wrapped ice cream or water-ice bars, ready for packing into cartons. Operating principle After cut-off from the wrapper, each row of wrapped bars is transferred to the Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 by means of the Tetra Hoyer Flowrap MW connecting conveyor, a continuously running flat belt conveyor. Every second row is led directly down into the transverse pocket conveyor of the interleaver. The rows in between are led onto a tipping plate which turns the bars 180°onto an overhanging conveyor mounted above the procket conveyor. The end of the overhanging conveyor slopes downwards and deposits the bars one by one onto the pocket conveyor so that they are interleaved with the bars which have already been transferred to the pocket conveyor. At the end of the pocket conveyor the bars are stacked on their lateral edge by means of stacker plates which lead the bars forward. The stacker plates are mechanically connected to the conveyors which are driven by an AC motor. The Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 is fully synchronized with the Tetra Hoyer Flowrap MW through the Tetra Hoyer Flowrap MW PLC unit. The Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 can be adjusted for uninterleaved operation with stacking in one row. This is the normal procedure when handling round bars. If the Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 is delivered as part of a complete line will it be controlled by the PLC in the Tetra Hoyer Flowrap MW. If the Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 is delivered as an upgrade unit will it be controlled by its own PLC. Standard design The Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 is built onto a frame made of stainless open profiles. All main components are covered with stainless steel sheeting for easy cleaning. The Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 is available in both a right hand and a left hand design, allowing feed-in from a wrapper placed either to the right or to the left of the interleaver. Product transfer from wrapper outlet to product moving system. The Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 is designed for connection to the Tetra Hoyer Flowrap MW multi-lane wrapper (see product description No. PD80623). Capacity The output of the Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 corresponds to the capacity of the Tetra Hoyer Flowrap MW wrapper. A Tetra Hoyer Flowrap MW wrapper with up to 5 lanes requires one Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 stacker, whereas a Tetra Hoyer Flowrap MW wrapper with up to 12 lanes will require two Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 stackers. In both cases an extra Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 stacker can be connected depending on the layout of the line and the number of packing operators desired. Contact sales support for further clarification on number of recommended Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2, if any doubt. In standard design the Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 can handle bars within the following dimensions (incl. 35 mm protruding stick): Dimensions Lenght Width Thickness Paper width Bag lenght Minimum 110 mm (4.3”) 15 mm (0.6”) 10 mm (0.4”) 80 mm (3.2”) 160 mm (6.3”) Technical data Standard voltage Connection Air consumption Air pressure Tetra Hoyer Flowrap MW connecting conveyor In order to transfer the bars from the outlet conveyor of the Tetra Hoyer Flowrap MW to the Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 a connecting conveyor is necessary. According to the number of Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 employed in the line a single, double or triple connecting conveyor will be required. The Tetra Hoyer Flowrap MW connecting conveyor is equipped with a separate gear motor and equipment for blowing away empty bags. 1.00) Single connecting conveyor from Tetra Hoyer Flowrap MW to one Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 interleaver/stacker. 1.01) Double connecting conveyor from Tetra Hoyer Flowrap MW to two Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 interleaver/stackers. 1.02) Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 3 x 400 V 0.3/0.45 kW 1.5 m³/h (53 cu. ft./h) 5–7 bar (73–102 psi) Connecting conveyor 3 x 400 V 1.1 kW 12 m³/h (425 cu. ft./h) 4 bar (58 psi) Maximum 180 mm (7.1”) Bar freezer pitch-2 mm 35 mm (1.4”) 3.2 x Bar freezer pitch 230 mm (9.1”) Sheet 1 / Face 2 Triple connecting conveyor from Tetra Hoyer Flowrap MW to three Tetra Hoyer Prostac HMI N2 interleaver/stackers.
