Triax UFO 150 – wideband multi-purpose LTE antenna
New challenges for DVB-T
reception include (but is not
limited to) frequency separation,
due to potential neighbor and
near channel interference from
TETRA and LTE. To avoid LTE
interference, DVB-T antennas
must attenuate or reject the LTE
signal.
LTE mobile broadband operates in
the frequency area 790-862 MHz
(E61-69).
This poses challenges to DVB-T
installations as wideband
antennas historically are
constructed to peak with max.
gain above 790 MHz (E61), and
receive up to 862 MHz (E69).
Based on the success of earlier
UFO products, Triax has developed
the UFO 150 with the following key
features:
• FM, DAB+, Band III and UHF
• Optimized for maximum gain
87-790 MHz, attenuating LTE
interference above 790 MHz with
>30dB
• TETRA filter (380-400 MHz) >15dB
•360o omnidirectional antenna
• Integrated 28 dB amplifier
• Surface treated to resist salt
water and tough weather
conditions
• 3 brackets for multi-purpose
installations enclosed

design makes the antenna suitable
for home, caravan, boat, mobile,
bus and truck.
Flexible installation options:
The UFO 150 comes with mounting
which will ease installation time.
The UFO 150 includes a Triax
KOSWI IEC connector for
connecting the coax cable to the
TV.
The KOSWI IEC connector meets
the high Class A shielding
requirements, further protecting
your TV system from LTE
interference.
Remember to use Class A or Class
A+ shielded coax cable to further
secure your TV system from LTE
interference.
