For approximately 24 weeks of the year MIL training HEL operate to the white gable marked grass lanes outside the RWY strips East of and parallel to RWY 05/23 or South
of and parallel to RWY 12/30, not ABV 2,000FT AMSL. All OPS take place to the South
of RWY strips and so at times, include Right hand circuits. As specified by NOTAM.
Parking on the RPT apron bays 1-4 is restricted to RPT ACFT or ACFT approved by the
AD manager or his delegate. No other ACFT may park on the RPT apron other than for
picking up or setting down of passengers between RPT OPS.
Parking bay 5 restricted to Air Ambulance ACFT only.
Parking bay 6 restricted to MIL ACFT or ACFT approved by AD manager or his delegate.
FLIGHT PROCEDURES
FM the THR of RWY 12, TFC on short final & on the ground near the THR of RWY 23 can be hidden
FM view, depending on ACFT size & flight path.
CTAF - AFRU 126.95
In the event of an EMERG, ACFT are to delcare the EMERG on the area FREQ. When WI 20NM of
Wagga AD, ACFT may advise details to RFF, callsign "Base Fire" on 126.95.

Recruit training ACT takes place H24 TUE to FRI, 0.5NM S of THR RWY 30. ACT is
outside airfield perimeter and involves use of blank ammunition, smoke and hand flares
by day and NGT. No live firing or projectiles will be used. Further details can be obtained
from BCP 02 6937 5888 JO.
R408 Explosive Demolition, SFC-1,900FT AMSL, 100M RAD, ACT by NOTAM. Range
LCA S35 10 13 E147 27 57 (440M SW THR RWY 30). ACT indicated by display of R
flags HJ and R flashing LGT HN.
Model ACFT flying will take place WI 1000M RAD of S35 11.2 E147 16.4 (APRX 10NM
W of Wagga AD). SFC to 1,000FT AGL and at Mt Coreinbob, S35 16.8 E147 33.5 (APRX
8NM SE of Wagga AD).
Weather balloon launch APRX 0515, 1115, 2315 FM 1.1KM NW ARP. Launches may
occur at other times.
