These will also be available on the website www.balletroyale.com and if you join us on Facebook, Instagram @balletroyale and on Pinterest you will often find up-dates and interesting snippets from the rehearsal and performance. Rehearsals are placed up to two weeks in advance. Please note that our rehearsal schedule is subject to change as it is dependent upon the students learning the material and other variables or unforeseen circumstances. There are many changes and additions. If you are not flexible, please don't join the cast as this production does require a certain amount of flexibility. The end result is very rewarding. Regular attendance is a requirement to allow the performer’s time to remember choreography. Often, the choreography will change during rehearsal. We need all cast members to be present. The level of Ballet Royale's performance is of a professional caliber. Your fellow cast members rely on each other for spacing and musical phrasing. When a member is absent, this effects the choreographer, rehearsal director and the entire cast of the Nutcracker rehearsal. 3 more missed rehearsals for ANY reason, will result in automatic removal from the Nutcracker Ballet. A note for missed rehearsals must be provided when a dancer is absent due to illness or prior to the excused absence. Rehearsal Attire: Students may wear rehearsal leotards and dance warm ups of their choice. We do not permit regular clothing at any time. 5 Costumes & Fitting: Costumes are the property of Ballet Royale. The rental of which is included in your performance fee. The costumes are dry cleaned and/or washed following each performance. They are taken to the theatre for you. Following the performance, they must be left at JRT.
