Engineering qualifications for current students – accreditation up to 31 Dec 2015 G17/E55 FD/Dip HE in Engineering G18/E56 FD/Dip HE in Materials Fabrication and Engineering This can be appropriate for IEng status but will require further learning as specified by the individual institutions B24 BEng (Hons) B65 BEng (Hons) Accredited by IED and CIBSE to IEng status and, with further learning, to CEng status Accredited by IET, IMechE, IED and CIBSE to IEng status and, with further learning, to CEng status. IET and IMechE have specified modules/ pathways through the qualification E22 PG Diploma in Engineering This could be part of a portfolio of qualifications and experience used to apply for IEng or CEng through an individual case procedure M03 MEng Accredited by IET, IMechE, IED and CIBSE to CEng status. IET and IMechE have specified modules/path ways through the qualification Please note: Accreditation of B24/B65 by one Professional Engineering Institution (PEI) licensed by ECUK is normally recognised by other PEIs but this needs to be checked with the institution of your choice. Accreditations are for students who complete by 31st December 2015. The Individual case procedure is open at all times for students to apply directly to the institution of their choice. In all instances, we recommend you liaise with your preferred PEI to confirm its requirements and any other restrictions they may apply. Registration as either IEng or CEng calls for both a suitable educational background and evidence of competence developed through professional practice.
