are required to
complete an
application for
notified body status.
The purpose of a
notified body for
construction
products is to
ensure that the
third party tasks
in relation to the
assessment and
verification of
constancy of
performance of
construction
products are
carried out in
accordance with
the requirements
of the relevant
harmonised
European
standard.
This will allow the
manufacturers of
construction
products to make
a Declaration of
Performance and
apply the CE
marking to their
products as
required under
Regulation (EU)
No. 305/2011 of
the European
Parliament and
of the Council
laying down
harmonised
conditions for the
