Congress Contesting Candidate from Suchetgarh Constituency held a series of public
meetings at villages Choga,
Abdullian,
Chandu
Chak,
Lian, Bega. While addressing
the public Chib said that the
present MLA of Suchetgarh
constituency has paid no attention towards the difficulties and sufferings faced by
public of the constituency. Instead inconvenience has been
caused to the public by shifting of newly created administrative units like Tehsil HQs
& Block HQs for Suchetgarh
constituency to the Native
village of the present MLA.
Chib said if voted as MLA the
same will be shifted to some
suitable place at R.S. Pura to
mitigate the suffering and in-
convenience of the border living people.
Chib threw a light on the development works he took up
during his tenure as a MLC/
minster.
He mentioned about the projects like setting up of sub district hospitals, establishment
of several primary health
centers, construction of park
at R.S. Pura, construction of
Bana Singh Sports stadium
and several play fields at different villages and opening of
ITI at R.S. Pura. Chib stated if
he would have been an MLA
he would have contributed
more in development of the
constituency. Chib also said
that PDP candidate when he
was Member Parliament (Rajya Sabha) did nothing for the
development of Suchetgarh.
Chib took a dig on present
MLA for ignoring the problems of SC, ST, OBCs and also
unemployed youth of the area.
He assured the public in case
he is elected MLA of the constituency, he would spare no
pains in making efforts for
the solutions of problems for
the border people as they have
always to suffer during crisis created by neighbouring
country.
He appealed the state govt. to
fulfill the demand of allotment
of plots in favour of the border people as already voiced
by Gulab Nabi Azad (formal
Chief Minister J & K) & Prof.
Saif-uddin Soz, President J&K
Pradesh Congress Committee.
Chib appealed people of the
constituency to vote for congress party which has always
stood for the people of the
state.

flagged off by Special Voters

Doda, Nov 20|14: In its continuous efforts to create electoral
awareness among the voters under the aegis of Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Programme,
a voter awareness express which
will tour Bhaderwah, Ghat, Thathri, Gandoh, Marmat, Assar,
Gundna and other parts of the
District from 21stof November to
25th of November 2014, was today
flagged off by special voters viz
two deaf and dumb voters, two
dwarf voters, two blind voters,
two physically handicapped voters, two oldest voters and two first
time voters from DC Office Complex Doda.
These voters were specially invited by the District Election Officer (Deputy Commissioner) Doda
Shyam Vinod Meena for flagging
off the Express and to develop a
sense of pride and equality, besides creating awareness among
the special voters.
The Express will spread the message of ethical and informed voting through posters, banners,
invitation cards and audio messages comprising of vote appeals,
ethical voting appeals and songs
and jingles of ECI through loud
speakers installed on the vehicle,
besides an official is also deputed
to redress any voting related query on spot.
The flagging off ceremony was
conducted in presence of General

Before flagging off, DEO Doda garlanded the special voters and distributed Invitation cards among
them inviting them to cast their
valuable vote on 25th November
2014, besides special stairs were
arranged for the dwarf voters to
boost their moral and to develop
a feeling of equality and pride
among them.
DEO also announced that these
special stairs along with a facilitator will be arranged for all the
9 polling stations where there are
15 dwarf voters, besides sign language instructors to facilitate the
deaf and dumb voters will also be
arranged for the polling stations
where there are deaf and dumb
voters in the District.

sensitized about SVEEP, MCC

awareness and to motivate the
masses for greater participation
in the Assembly Elections- 2014,
SVEEP activities to aware Govt.
employees were organised today
in Conference Hall Nandni Hill
Samba.
Speaking on the occasion The
Deputy Commissioner, Samba
Mubarak Singh impressed upon
the employees to carry forward
this message to their respective
areas for ensuring maximum
electoral participation.
He exhorted upon them to specially focus on ensuring the greater
participation of female voters in
the polling process. Calling them
an important component of Elections, he emphasized on more
involvement of Anganwadi Workers and ASHA workers in the
Election process.
He further said that the main objective of SVEEP is to motivate
voters to enhance participation
for the strong democracy, increase
in voter turnout in identified low
turnout polling stations, to bridge
gender gap in enrolment, increase
in Postal ballot voting, inclusion
of left out groups/communities
etc. He called for generation of
awareness among the public for
greater participation in the election process.
A signature campaign was also
organised in which more than 200
employees participated. SVEEP
awareness messages formed part
of this campaign.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner Samba Vivek Sharma
also interacted with the Employees and asked them to guide
and aware the masses about the
importance of their vote. Later,
a training programme for the officials and other staff deployed for
the election duties was also organised today in the conference hall
Nandni Hills Samba.
Addressing the polling staff DEO
asked them to strictly adhere to
the model code of conduct (MCC)
which has come to force with the
announcement of polling date.
He said that the ECI has zero tolerance concerning elections and
there is no room for excuse or negligence on the part of the Government employees in election duty.

various other officers were also
present on the occasion.
Akhnoor must vote in favour

DEO Rajouri holds
training of Magistrates,
Micro -Observers

to the ensuing assembly polls,
District Election Officer and
Deputy Commissioner Rajouri,
Jitendra K Singh convened
several meetings for imparting
training to the election staff.
First meeting held was held
with Sector and Zonal Magistrates in which one hundred
and ten employees participated and the aim of the meeting
was to impart training to the
magistrates. While addressing
the meeting. District Election
Officer Jatindra Kumar Singh
stressed upon to work with zeal
and dedication on the assigned
duties as per the directions and
guidelines of the ECI in order
to conduct free and fair election in the District.

Rajouri, Nov 20|14: Providing
further momentum to its Assembly election campaign in border
district of Rajouri to make ‘Mission 44+ a reality’, the Bharatiya
Janta Party (BJP) district unit
today organized a function at
Shahpur area of Rajouri district
in which nearly 500 people from
all walks of life participated enthusiastically. Addressing to the
rally, BJP State Vice President
Advocate Vibodh Gupta highlighted the hardships being faced
by the common man in the J&K
State where they are always being
deprived even for the basic amenities like food, shelter, water and
electricity. Vibodh cornered Congress, Peoples Democratic Party
(PDP) and National Conference
(NC) for the plights of the people
in the State and he said that these
parties always looted the State
exchequer after coming to power
as a result of which the State has
become the most corrupt and underdeveloped area in the country.
He also criticized Congress leadership for the pathetic condition
of the State which they ruled for
so many years. “Congress could
not take a save passage to shield
its false promises which they
have made for the last more than
30 years”, Vibodh said and added
that the BJP will leave no stone
unturned to bring peace and prosperity in the State.

status to Peeri area of Rajouri
district, local residents organised historic rally in support
of Peoples Democratic Party
candidate Zulfikar Ali Choudhary and extended full support
to him in the elections.
The rally was attended by
thousands of people of Peeri.
Choudhary Zulfikar Ali was
taken in a cavalcade of about
300 vehicles to Peeri where
a mammoth gathering welcomed him and thanked his
efforts for getting tehsil and
block status for Peeri.

Prof. Bhim Singh made heavy attacks on the double standard of
BJP and betrayal by NC, PDP and
the Congress. He said that Modi
is using the same language which

4600 Employees imparted

departments in three rounds. The

Democratic Party (PDP) today flayed state government
for its failure to conduct civic
bodies’ elections, which in
turn is affecting development
of urban areas of state which
also included Bhaderwah.
As per press release, PDP
leader and contesting candidate from Bhaderwah constituency Sheikh Mehboob
Iqbal today conducted door
to door campaign for himself
at Gatha, Udrana, Seri Bazaar, Sadar Bazaar, Pasri bus
stand, Chobia and other parts
of the Bhaderwah town and
interacted with cross sections
of the people and listened to
their problems and seek vote
for himself and said whole
state want change and people
of Bhaderwah should also contribute in it.
He said that people of urban
areas of Bhaderwah are suffering for want of basic amenities due to mal-administration
and nepotism created by Congress .He also regretted that
most of the government sponsored schemes failed to yield
expected results in the urban
areas due to mal-administration and corruption at grass
root level.
He further added that his mission is the foundation of new
Bhaderwah, Bhalessa and Charalla and he want to make
town like Switzerland where
all basic amenities will be
available to people at door step
