While addressing the public Chib said that the present MLA of Suchetgarh constituency has paid no attention towards the difficulties and sufferings faced by public of the constituency. Instead inconvenience has been caused to the public by shifting of newly created administrative units like Tehsil HQs & Block HQs for Suchetgarh constituency to the Native village of the present MLA. Chib said if voted as MLA the same will be shifted to some suitable place at R.S. Pura to mitigate the suffering and in- convenience of the border living people. Chib threw a light on the development works he took up during his tenure as a MLC/ minster. He mentioned about the projects like setting up of sub district hospitals, establishment of several primary health centers, construction of park at R.S. Pura, construction of Bana Singh Sports stadium and several play fields at different villages and opening of ITI at R.S. Pura. Chib stated if he would have been an MLA he would have contributed more in development of the constituency. Chib also said that PDP candidate when he was Member Parliament (Rajya Sabha) did nothing for the development of Suchetgarh. Chib took a dig on present MLA for ignoring the problems of SC, ST, OBCs and also unemployed youth of the area. He assured the public in case he is elected MLA of the constituency, he would spare no pains in making efforts for the solutions of problems for the border people as they have always to suffer during crisis created by neighbouring country. He appealed the state govt. to fulfill the demand of allotment of plots in favour of the border people as already voiced by Gulab Nabi Azad (formal Chief Minister J & K) & Prof. Saif-uddin Soz, President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee. Akhnoor today is one of the models and finest Constituency which is growing fast in light of it being ignored for long time and People of Voter Awareness Express flagged off by Special Voters EARTH NEWS SERVICE Doda, Nov 20|14: In its continuous efforts to create electoral awareness among the voters under the aegis of Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Programme, a voter awareness express which will tour Bhaderwah, Ghat, Thathri, Gandoh, Marmat, Assar, Gundna and other parts of the District from 21stof November to 25th of November 2014, was today flagged off by special voters viz two deaf and dumb voters, two dwarf voters, two blind voters, two physically handicapped voters, two oldest voters and two first time voters from DC Office Complex Doda. These voters were specially invited by the District Election Officer (Deputy Commissioner) Doda Shyam Vinod Meena for flagging off the Express and to develop a sense of pride and equality, besides creating awareness among the special voters. The Express will spread the message of ethical and informed voting through posters, banners, invitation cards and audio messages comprising of vote appeals, ethical voting appeals and songs and jingles of ECI through loud speakers installed on the vehicle, besides an official is also deputed to redress any voting related query on spot. Employees sensitized about SVEEP, MCC EARTH NEWS SERVICE Samba, Nov 20|14: To create awareness and to motivate the masses for greater participation in the Assembly Elections- 2014, SVEEP activities to aware Govt. employees were organised today in Conference Hall Nandni Hill Samba. Speaking on the occasion The Deputy Commissioner, Samba Mubarak Singh impressed upon the employees to carry forward this message to their respective areas for ensuring maximum electoral participation. He exhorted upon them to specially focus on ensuring the greater participation of female voters in the polling process. Calling them an important component of Elections, he emphasized on more involvement of Anganwadi Workers and ASHA workers in the Election process. He further said that the main objective of SVEEP is to motivate voters to enhance participation for the strong democracy, increase in voter turnout in identified low turnout polling stations, to bridge gender gap in enrolment, increase in Postal ballot voting, inclusion of left out groups/communities etc. He called for generation of awareness among the public for greater participation in the election process. Bhaderwah, Nov 20|14: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today flayed state government for its failure to conduct civic bodies’ elections, which in turn is affecting development of urban areas of state which also included Bhaderwah. As per press release, PDP leader and contesting candidate from Bhaderwah constituency Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal today conducted door to door campaign for himself at Gatha, Udrana, Seri Bazaar, Sadar Bazaar, Pasri bus stand, Chobia and other parts of the Bhaderwah town and interacted with cross sections of the people and listened to their problems and seek vote for himself and said whole state want change and people of Bhaderwah should also contribute in it. He said that people of urban areas of Bhaderwah are suffering for want of basic amenities due to mal-administration and nepotism created by Congress .He also regretted that most of the government sponsored schemes failed to yield expected results in the urban areas due to mal-administration and corruption at grass root level. He further added that his mission is the foundation of new Bhaderwah, Bhalessa and Charalla and he want to make town like Switzerland where all basic amenities will be available to people at door step .
