Call to Order Type Information 1. Attendance Sheet: Please remember to sign the attendance sheet, as it helps the board to keep accurate meeting minutes and to follow up with attendees as needed. 2. Community Participation: There are two opportunities for community participation during BBP BOE meetings. The first is just before the board takes up its agenda, when the community is invited to ask questions or to make comments directly related to agenda items. The second follows the disposition of all agenda items, when the community is invited to ask questions or to make comments related to district matters generally. 3. Videotape: For the convenience of our community, all Bayport-Blue Point Board of Education meetings are videotaped and posted thereafter to the school district website. So that the board is able to hear all comments and so that the videotape of the meeting is accurate, speakers at our meetings use a podium and a microphone. For ease of access and to keep our meetings moving, please do not hesitate to sit near the speaker’s podium if you plan to address the board. 4. Agendas: In furtherance of the district’s efforts to “Go Green” and to save on duplicating costs, the January 28, 2014 meeting was the last meeting where hard copies of the Agenda were available on the back table. Moving forward, hard copies can be printed from the website or picked up in advance at the district clerk’s office. The Agenda will continue to be displayed during the meeting on the large screen at the front of the room and it can also be viewed on attendees’ personal handheld devices by accessing BoardDocs through the district website.
