MENTAWAI MEGATHRUST DISASTER RELIEF EXERCISE
2013 - 2014
Objectives
To complete the implementation of the basic concepts of
social activity (Humanitarian Civic Action / HCA) with the
involvement of the Ministries / Institutions / Agencies /
Organizations in HCA activities in the city of Padang and
Mentawai District In order to support the Mentawai
megathrust DiREx 2013 -2014 to provide support for local
government and local communities in improving
community resilience to face the disaster.
Purpose
To have a common perception of the Ministries /
Institutions / Agencies / Organizations which involved in
social activities (Humanitarian Civic Action / HCA) in order
to support the Mentawai megathrust DiREx from 2013 to
2014 with their involvements to provide health and social
services facilities and infrastructure needed in the area
of improving the resilience of communities to face the
disaster

• Immediately assign people in responsible for WG HCA in the
local level while increasing the role of local government in
Direx MM generally.
• Ensuring
the
plans
and
support
the
Ministry/Institutions/Agencies/ Organizations, including the
LU and LN in particular implementation of the HCA TA 2014.
• Re-Collaborating HCA activities with MM DiREx activities
2014 .
• Assigning BPBD Province as MM Direx secretariat in the
region, padang city and mentawai district.

(devided into 4 sector)

village with 20-25 members each.

to prepare the resilient society.
